The Yori Story
Yori is a curated furniture studio bringing the finest wabi-sabi and naturalistic solid wood pieces from China to your home. Our name — Yori — means “from” in Japanese, reflecting our deep respect for the origin of each material and the hands that shaped it.
We believe that furniture should carry meaning. That a table is not merely a surface, but a place where life happens. That a chair is not just somewhere to sit, but a form sculpted by nature and refined by human skill over decades. Every piece we offer has been chosen for its character, its craft, and its story.

WiseWood Works, Zhongshan
We partner exclusively with WiseWood Works (巧拐家具), a master workshop based in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China. Their craftspeople specialise in antique-style and solid wood furniture, excelling in ageing techniques and bespoke customisation.
After order confirmation, their dedicated tracking team sends photos and videos at each stage of production — giving you full visibility and peace of mind, even from thousands of miles away.
The factory has completed major projects for boutique hotels, restaurants, homestays and cultural tourism destinations across China — and now brings that same standard of excellence to homes worldwide through Yori.
